Larchmont School: Active Creative Partnership

We are proud to currently host our signature Screenwriting and Film Acting programs at Larchmont School. Under the guidance of our lead instructor, Tim, students are currently exploring the technical world of "On-Camera Dynamics" and developing original 3-act scripts. This partnership exemplifies our mission to bring professional-grade film education directly to the students, allowing them to transform their creative ideas into cinematic reality during their school day.

New School Los Angeles: A Legacy of Excellence

Our deep-rooted relationship with New School Los Angeles has served as a cornerstone for our educational outreach. Having previously led their Film Acting departments, our faculty established a high standard for youth performance that focuses on repeatable, professional-grade acting techniques. The success of the students at New School LA continues to inspire our current curriculum, bridging the gap between classroom learning and Hollywood industry standards.

Lead Instructor & Creative Mentor

Tim Donner brings a unique blend of industry expertise and pedagogical passion to LAPAP. With a background that includes teaching Film Acting at the New School Los Angeles and current roles at the Larchmont School, Tim is a master at bridging the gap between professional technique and student creativity.

Tim’s approach goes beyond simple performance. He focuses on empowering children to become creators, not just actors. By integrating screenwriting with performance, he helps kids understand the "why" behind every scene, fostering a deep sense of confidence that translates from the camera lens to their everyday lives.
